Legalization of Apartments
Citizen of Georgia, who for years owns a residential or non-residential area, which is on the balance of the Ministry of Defence and has a purpose of its legalization, must submit the following documents to a special commission:
a) Written application;
b) Copy of the identification document;
c) A certified copy of the inheritance certificate, if the applicant is the heir of the person who has acquired the right to own (use) the residential and non-residential area based on the document certifying legal ownership (use) (order issued by an authorized body, decision of the housing commission, other administrative-legal act, as well as court decision confirming the right of ownership (use) of the area);
d) A copy of representative's identification document and representation document (original or certified copy);
e) Proof of legal ownership (use), and if it is impossible to submit such document - another document certifying the ownership (use) of residential and non-residential area (for example, subscription document, payment receipt etc.);
f) A notarized application of at least three neighbors, which confirms the ownership (use) of residential and non-residential area by the person, specified in the Article 4, Paragraph 1, Sub-paragraph “a” of this regulation;
g) Cadastral plan / measured drawing;
h) Information issued by the LEPL National Agency of Public Registry on the registration of property rights, legal restrictions and tax lien / mortgage debtors over the residential and non-residential areas;
i) Information / documentation about parents, spouse, ex-spouse, child / children;
An internally displaced person, who owns a residential or non-residential area, which is on the balance of the Ministry of Defence and has a purpose of its legalization, must submit the following documents to a special commission:
a) Written application;
b) Copy of the identification document;
c) A document issued by the LEPL Internally Displaced Persons, Ecomigrants and Livelihood Agency, which will contain the following information:
c.a) IDP status;
c.b) Composition of the IDP family;
c.c) Actual residence of the IDP / IDP family;
c.d) Information on providing IDP / IDP family with long-term housing;
d) Cadastral plan / measured drawing;
e) Information issued by the LEPL National Agency of Public Registry on the registration of property rights, legal restrictions and tax lien / mortgage debtors over the residential and non-residential areas;
