Minister of Defense of Georgia continues his visit to the United States of America. Following the meeting with the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon, Juansher Burchuladze was hosted by the Chief of the U.S. National Guard Bureau, General Daniel R. Hokanson. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine, Eurasia Laura Cooper, Deputy Commanding General for Army National Guard of the United States Army Europe and Africa General Joseph F. Jarrard, representatives of the U.S. National Guard Bureau and members of the Georgian delegation attended the meeting. 

The sides discussed the U.S. supported important programs aimed at enhancing Georgia’s defense capabilities.
Juansher Burchuladze expressed appreciation for the successful cooperation with the State of Georgia National Guard under the State Partnership Program that counts nearly 3 decades of exemplary partnership.

The sides also talked about the importance of multinational military exercises and highlighted the outstanding support and contribution the National Guard provides for implementation of joint military exercises.
