Noble Partner 2022 Launched

Multinational Exercise Noble Partner 2022 was officially opened at Vaziani IV Infantry Brigade. Chief of Georgian Defense Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili congratulated the military servicemen of Georgia, USA, NATO member and partner countries on participation in the military exercises and emphasized the importance of cooperation with partners and provision of stability in the region while delivering a speech.

The MoD representatives, Defense Attaches of those countries participating in the exercise, as well as NATO Core Team, the representatives of NLO and EUMM attended the opening ceremony. 

Noble Partner 2022 is led by East Command of Georgian Defense Forces East Command and U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR) which is supported by NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC). Noble Partner 2022 aims to enhance Georgian, US, regional partner and allied readiness and interoperability while contributing to the stable and secure environment in the Black Sea Region.

There are some improvements in Noble Partner 2022. First time in its history the representatives from Japan and SWEDINT, as well as LITPOLUKR Multinational Brigade will join the multinational exercise. This year more than 2400 military are engaged in the exercise. The participants of Noble Partner 2022 are the following: Georgia, USA, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Greece, UK, Turkey, Slovakia, Norway, Hungary, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Japan, Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade and SWEDINT.
