Defense Minister of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze hosted newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Georgia Zhou Qian. Minister wished the Ambassador every success and expressed hope to continue productive cooperation between Georgia and China in the future.

The sides discussed the issues on restoration and development of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense as it was before Corona Virus pandemic. They paid attention to the existing cooperation prospects in military education, as well as regional security issues. Ambassador of China once more expressed support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Juansher Burchuladze tanked the diplomat for China’s political and practical support towards Georgia.
