The challenges and future opportunities in the field of defence and security were discussed during the conference.
Within the framework of the visit, General Sir Patrick Sanders, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom hosted Deputy Commander of Georgian Defence Forces. The situation in the region and security challenges, as well as bilateral defence cooperation were the main topics of the discussion.
The sides focused on the priority directions for strengthening the capabilities of the Defence Forces, reserve and mobilization system developing plans and the importance of international exercises. Brigadier General Joni Tatunashvili thanked General Patrick Sanders for his support in various directions, including his assistance in the development of cyber security.
