Defence Ministry Team won one more gold medal in Invictus Games

The team of the wounded, ill or injured military servicemen of Defence Ministry won another gold medal in the Invictus Games taking place in The Hague. Alex Beruashvili took the first place in the 200-meter sprint and brought the second gold medal to the team. On his account is another gold medal he received in the 1,500-meter race. The team of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia successfully competes in the Invictus Games. Except for two gold medals, Merab Osepaishvili and Onise Jugeli won bronze medals in Land Rover Challenge. 

A group of 20 wounded servicemen participates in various sports: sitting volleyball, archery, swimming, weightlifting, athletics, wheelchair basketball, rowing on a training device and Land Rover competition. 
The Minister of Defence of Georgia is in The Hague, who is a fan of the Georgian military servicemen. The Invictus Games have been held in various countries since 2014 under the patronage of the Duke of Sussex (Prince Harry) of the United Kingdom. This year, the Kingdom of Netherlands is hosting the tournament. The team of wounded servicemen of the Ministry of Defence participated in sport competitions four times and achieved great success.
