The soldiers of Special Operations Forces of Georgian Defence Forces are going through a parachute training programme, which involves landing on the water. Within the ongoing training, with the purpose of raising the combat spirit of the military service members, Defence Minister took part in the parachute jump from air to water.
Juansher Burchuladze underwent preparation before landing on the water with the parachute, which included theoretical, practical and safety elements. The parachute jump was made from an upgraded AN-2 aircraft belonging to the Aviation and Air Defence Command, which took off from the territory of JSC Tbilaviamsheni.
The trainings last 21 days and are conducted in several stages, which include parachuting from different heights on different terrains.
