Defense Forces intelligence units conducted demonstration exercises with the representatives of the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The intelligence units of the Defense Forces together with the representatives of the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organized by the J2 Intelligence Department of the General Staff, conducted demonstration exercises within the framework of "Arrow 2021". Up to 40 employees of the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the exercise together with the units of the Defense Forces. Deputy Minister of Defense Davit Sujashvili and Deputy Commander of the Georgian Defense Forces, Chief of General Staff, Brigadier General Joni Tatunashvili attended the "Arrow 2021" exercise. The training lasted for a week. During the demonstration exercise, the military conducted ambush, raid and building clean-up operations. The training consisted of six main stages, which were loaded with theoretical and practical lessons. During field training, the military was able to hone their skills in overcoming water obstacles, opening and operating a headquarters checkpoint, tactical medical training and self-rescue skills.

The training was aimed at improving the skills of the unit management procedures and combat commands and issuing, the use of geospatial reconnaissance materials, planning reconnaissance operations and taking into account the principles of task management, performing unexpected tasks independently. After the demonstration training, diplomas were handed over to the military servicemen.
