Minister of Defence of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze held meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia Imamura Akira. Defence Minister congratulated the Japanese diplomat on his appointment as an Ambassador of Japan to Georgia and wished him success. Juansher Burchuladze expressed gratefulness for the political and practical support that Japan has been providing to Georgia and expressed hope that bilateral defence cooperation with Japan will develop further. The First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan to Georgia, Imanishi Takao attended the meeting at the Georgian Defence Ministry.
