Chief of Defence Forces met with UK Military Intelligence Service representatives

Chief of Georgian Defence Forces, Major-General Giorgi Matiashvili met with Major-General Ben Kite, Director of Intelligence Interoperability for the Ministry of Defence of the Great Britain and North Ireland United Kingdom.

CHOD talked about the defence cooperation between Georgia and UK. He underlined the importance of UK’s support in terms of military intelligence and information operations.

​In the end of the meeting, Major-General Giorgi Matiashvili expressed hope for closer cooperation in defence between the two countries. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief of Defence, Brigadier-General Irakli Chichinadze and Head of Military Intelligence Department, Colonel Giorgi Bliadze.
