Military Intelligence Officers Marked on Professional Day

Defense Forces of Georgia marked on the Military Intelligence Day with a special training in II Infantry Brigade, Senaki. Within the official part of the event West Commander, Colonel Koba Grigolia congratulated the military intelligence officers on their professional day and awarded them with certificates and medals.

At the event the military intelligence officers presented the elements of hand-to-hand fighting an martial art, afterwards they hoisted Georgian national flag while performing national dance “Khorumi”.

Related to the Military Intelligence Day, Intelligence Company of the II Infantry Brigade conducted a demonstrative training -   raid operation. According to the scenario, the task of the Intelligence Company was to destroy a subversive group whose purpose was to arrange destabilization. After discovering and isolating the conditional adversary, the intelligence officers entered the building to destroy and neutralized the adversary.

Military Intelligence officers participate in international missions together with other maneuver units. They also cooperate with the intelligence services of Georgia and partner countries in strengthening regional and international stability.
