Commander of East Command Paid Working Visit to Afghanistan

Commander of East Command of Georgian Defense Forces, Colonel Roland Dzneladze paid a working visit to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in order to get information about the fulfilled tasks and ongoing mission of the 13th Battalion of I Infantry Brigade on the ground. Commander of the 13th Battalion, LTC Vladimer Natenadze briefed East Commander on their daily duty and existing security environment.  

Colonel Roland Dzneladze also met with the military of the 13th Battalion and thanked them for honorable service in Resolute Support mission.

Colonel Roland Dzneladze visited Afghan Islamic Republic as East Commander for the first time. Prior to appointment as the East Commander, I Infantry Brigade was directly under his command. I Infantry Brigade left for Afghanistan to perform Resolute Support mission in July and under the U.S. command its main responsibility is to provide security of Bagram Air Base.
