State flags lowered at the Ministry of Defence on the occasion of the day of mourning

By the decree of the Prime Minister and the Government of Georgia, August 25 was declared a day of mourning in the country. In honor of the memory of those who died in the tragedy on the Shatili Road, state flags were lowered at the administrative buildings of the Ministry of Defence and all military bases in the regions of Georgia, as well as throughout Georgia.

On August 23, a car accident on Shatili Road killed 17 people and seriously injured 3 others.
