A planned situational field gathering "Arrow 2020" is underway in Kojori

As part of the “Arrow 2020” field gathering, a live fire exercise was held with the involvement of the Reconnisance Unit of the Georgian Defence Forces and the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Commander of the Georgian Defence Forces Major General Giorgi Matiashvili and leadership from the MIA and GDF attended the exercise. Major-General thanked the exercise participants and the instructors of the Special Operations Forces for their high level performance.

Within the exercise, the reconissance units of the Defence Forces and the reconnisance tactical teams of the Special Tasks Department jointly discovered the base of the conventional enemy and attacked it.

The field gathering included theoretical and practical lessons. The training participants underwent reconnisance, tactical and medical training and improved their self-rescue skills. "Arrow 2020" started on June 28 and will end on July 5.
