Another Georgian Platoon Accomplished Peacekeeping Mission in RCA

National Guard platoon of Georgian Defense Forces accomplished EU-led Training Mission in the Republic of Central Africa. Commander of EU forces of EUTM RCA, Brigadier General Erik Petie expressed gratitude to the Georgian peacekeepers for their successful mission and awarded them with medals. French General underlined the professionalism of Georgian soldiers and wished them peaceful return to homeland.


National Guard platoon participated in the EU-led Military-Training Mission in the capital Bangui on the base “UCATEX”, RCA under French command for six months. The main task of the Georgian peacekeepers was to provide security throughout the base, motorized patrol and convoy.
