Recruits Took Military Oath

62 military servicemen joined Georgian Defense Forces. The recruits took an oath at King Erekle Palace in Telavi.

Head of National Guard, Colonel Irakli Chumburidze congratulated the military on joining the army and informed them Defense Minister’s vision that aims to improve social conditions for them. Head of National Guard wished the military devoted service for the homeland and every success. Following the oath taking ceremony, the military received letters of appreciation.

Before oath taking, the recruits underwent ten-week long basic combat training (BCT). Within the BCT they mastered in tactical, communication, medical, fire, marching and discipline skills.

From now on the soldiers serve in the 20th Cadre Brigade in Telavi during nine years. The representatives of Georgian Defense Forces, Governor of Kakheti region Irakli Kadagishvili and family members of the military attended the event. 

At the end of the ceremony, Private Giga Ramazishvili immediately asked his sweetheart Sopo Bakuradze to marry him. The juveniles received congratulations from their friends and relatives.
