JFTC Commander Visited the Georgian Defence Ministry

Commander of the Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC) Major General Adam Joks visited the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.

Major General Adam Joks was hosted by the Deputy Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces Chief of the General Staff Major-General Zaza Chkhaidze at the administration headquarters of the Georgian Defence Forces where the sides discussed the bilateral cooperation issues.

Later, representatives of various departments of the Georgian Defence Forces briefed the JFTC Commander about the implemented and ongoing military exercises and discussed the prospects of development of the NATO-Georgia Joint Trainings and Education Center (JTEC).

Within the frames of the visit to Georgia, Major-General Adam Joks visited the NATO-Georgia Joint Trainings and Education Center (JTEC). JTEC Commander, Colonel Giorgi Dumbadze informed the JFTC Commander about the history and structure of the JTEC, implemented military exercises and planned events. He underlined the importance of support from international partners as well. After the presentation Major-General Adam Joks viewed the infrastructure and got introduced to working process of the center.
