The closing ceremony of Command and Staff component of multinational exercise Agile Spirit 2019 was held in II Infantry Brigade, Senaki. Co-director of CPX component of the exercise, Colonel Kakha Tabatadze delivered informational briefing to the invited guests and gave them detail information about the ongoing process of the exercise.
Within the event, Ex-director Brigadier General Giorgi Matiashvili and Ex Co-director Colonel Jason Baker addressed the military servicemen participating in the exercise, expressed gratitude for their participation and wished them every success. Afterwards, they awarded the military servicemen with memorable boards and coins of Agile Spirit 2019.
Prior to the closing ceremony the multinational military personnel who participated in CPX component paid a tribute to the heroes fallen for Georgian territorial integrity and laid a wreath at the memorial in II Infantry Brigade, Senaki.

Agile Spirit 2019 has officially been launched on July 27 and will come to an end on August 9. The exercise is being held on three locations – II Infantry Brigade in Senaki, Orpolo and Vaziani fire ranges. More than 3000 military servicemen of NATO member and partner countries will participate in Agile Spirit 2019. The following 14 countries are engaged in the exercise: Georgia, USA, UK, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.
