From now on, the military servicemen of the GAF will deliver lectures on various defence topics in Georgian Public Schools. Ministry of Defence, in cooperation with Ministry of Education, launched a large-scale project - “Our Army”. Within the project, the representatives of Georgian Armed Forces will meet the 11^th and 12^th grade students on a step-by-step basis and provide them with information on the history, goals and mission of the Georgian Armed Forces, defence reforms, NATO-Georgia relationship, mandatory and contract-based military service, concepts on reserve and mobilization and Georgia`s involvement in international peacekeeping missions and military exercises.

The presentation of project “Our Army” was held in 175^th Tbilisi Public School. Minister of Defence inaugurated the project. Levan Izoria focused on the importance and goals of the project and answered the questions of the students. Deputy Minister of Education Lia Gigauri and Chief of General Staff of GAF Vladimer Chachibaia addressed the school pupils. The presentation continued in a question and answer session.
