Military Day at Shaori “Future Camp”

Military Day was held at Shaori “Future Camp”. The West Commander Colonel Giorgi Matiashvili and III Infantry Brigade military personnel started the military way with a presentation about the Georgian Armed Forces. They talked about the importance of military education and participation of the Georgian contingent in peacekeeping operations and shared their experience. Military personnel trained the schoolchildren in survival skills. Students could ask questions to soldiers and discuss various topics of their interest as well.

Military day continued with the most interesting episode - military instructors trained the students in overcoming obstacles at 100 meters and 45 meters width sports ground in various weight categories.

School children were also offered to view the military equipment produced by the Military-Scientific Technical Center “Delta “and exhibited various foreign equipment owned by the Georgian Army.

The “Future Camp” program is implemented by the Children and Youth National Center. The goal of the program is to provide cultural, educational and entertainment programs to the youth, foster their informal educational opportunities, increase their physical, spiritual and intellectual potential, also, support their social integration and healthy lifestyle.
