The presents of military servicemen for #202 Boarding School pupils

The military servicemen of 23rd Infantry Battalion of II Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Armed Forces visited #202 Boarding School pupils and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays. The soldiers presented the children with school items, furniture and sweets.

The military service members, on their own, hold charity actions for the pupils of different schools on a regular bases.

Lasha Gochelashvili: “we, together with the Battalion Commander, have visited #202 Boarding School children and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays and presented them with gifts. These children are important part of the public and should feel our support. We promise to visit them frequently to make them feel happy.”

“The 23rd Infantry Battalion military visited the boarding school and presented them with New Year gifts. They refurbished the children`s room where they spend the most part of their time with necessary inventory. Organizing such events are critical for the social integration of our children. I would like to thank them , congratulate New Year and Christmas holidays and wish a peaceful return from the mission”, stated #202 Boarding School Director Khatuna Jalagonia.

The 23rd Infantry Battalion of II Infantry Brigade is going through pre-deployment training for the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan. The training is divided into four phases and is being held in Joint Training and Evaluation Centre. Four month-long preparation will be over in January after which the military servicemen will go through pre-deployment training in Germany.
