Within the framework of Bilateral Cooperation Plan, military attaché from Austria has paid a visit to the Ministry of Defence of Georgia today.
The purpose of the visit was to launch cooperation in the mountain training field between Georgian and Austrian MoDs.
Colonel Thomas Rapatz was hosted by the Head of International Relations and Euro-Atlantic Integration Department, Marika Laliashvili. The discussions held during the meeting focused on the future security priorities of the two countries. The sides stressed as well the importance of deepening the mutual military collaboration.
Under the visit agenda meetings will be held with the JS Land Forces Commander, Col. Shmagi Telia, as well as the Training and Military Education Commander, LTC Lasha Beridze.
Military attaché form Austria will leave the country on October 9.
