The first tournament in Georgian wrestling for the members of the Georgian Armed Forces was held at the sports hall of the Joint Staff today.  The sportsmen, both individual wrestlers and teams competed in various weight categories.  The goal of the sports event is to popularize and promote this discipline of wrestling in the Georgian Armed Forces. Prospective sportsmen will get permission to participate in the wrestling competitions and championships in Georgia.

The tournament was organized by the sports service of administrative department of Joint Staff of Georgian Armed Forces, Department of Sports and Youth and National Federation of Georgian Wrestling. The winners will be granted diplomas, medals and cups, also money awards.
