Demonstrative Training to mark Georgian Armed Forces Day

Today, a demonstrative training was conducted in Vaziani to mark the Georgian Armed Forces Day. Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and Minister of Defence Irakli Alasania attended the event. The members of Cabinet of Ministers also congratulated the military on the professional day. Specially for the invited guests, a demonstrative field-tactical exercise “Arrow-013” was conducted at the Vaziani military firing-ground. The personnel of SOF took part in the training with their own combat equipment and Georgian-made military vehicles. The military servicemen performed ambush, search- rescue, shooting and evacuation operations. Air Squadron was also involved in “Arrow-013”. It carried out air support and air infiltration of SOF units in the operational area. Reactionary Artillery Battery of I Artillery Brigade participated in the demonstrative training too. As part of the exercise, the personnel of Battery targeted an indirect fire to deter the enemy. Following the demonstrative exercise, PM and the government members personally congratulated Armed Forces Day to the military, thanked them for the training and wished them every success in their profession.
