The goal of the visit is to evaluate the accomplishment of Planning and Review Process (PARP) and obligations under the Annual National Plan (ANP), undertaken by Ministry of Defence of Georgia. Within the frames of the visit, Frank Boland schedules to hold meetings with Interior and Finance Ministers, Headship of Security Council and EU Monitoring Mission and finally with State Minister of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
Since 2003, NATO top official has been in charge of Force Planning Directorate of NATO Defence Policy and Planning Department. He takes responsibility for conducting the force planning process not only in the Aliance member but in partner countries as well.
NATO senior representative has arrived in Georgia today and will leave the country on September 11.
