Following the accomplishment of the rehabilitation course, Private Guram Chimakhidze who was exploded on the IED (improvised explosive device), will return to the Georgian Armed Forces and continue his service as a military instructor.
Defence Minister of Georgia personally informed this decision to the wounded Georgian soldier who is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation course at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. Irakli Alasania and Deputy Chief of JS of GAF, Brigadier-General Vakhtang Kapanadze visited Private Chimakhidze in town Landstuhl, Germany and got familiar with the progress of his rehabilitation. In the nearest future, the wounded Georgian military serviceman will undergo a prosthesis course in the USA, after which he will return to the armed forces. Private Guram Chimakhidze served in the 32nd Battallion of the III Infantry Brigade.
