On behalf of Minister of Defence of Georgia, the New Year concert was held in the Army Hall of the Ministry of Defence dedicated to the Georgian Armed Forces.

376 military servicemen joined the Georgian Armed Forces. The course graduates of Senior Sergeant Zaza Feradze Basic Combat Training Centre swore an oath at the 300 Aragveli Heroes Memorial. 

On behalf of the Minister of Defence of Georgia, the children of the military servicemen killed in action in the fight for Georgia`s territorial integrity, peacekeeping missions and while performing service duties were hosted at the New Year event in the Ministry of Defence. 

The Defence Institution Building (DIB) School hosted the meeting with defence and security sector representatives to identify the needs of trainings. 

88 military service members joined the Georgian Armed Forces.

Final Briefing of  2017 of East Command  of Land Forces was held in the IV Mechanized Brigade in Vaziani.

Graduation ceremony for the Captain’s Career Courses was held at the Army Hall of the Defence Ministry.
